In 2022, Puredrive Energy was proudly granted a licence to manufacture and sell Duracell Energy battery storage systems across the UK and key European territories. Selected to represent the iconic Duracell brand, Puredrive earned this partnership through the proven quality of its products, advanced engineering, and precision-led manufacturing standards.

Today, we continue to invest heavily in the development of next-generation battery systems and energy technologies — innovations that are currently brought to market exclusively under the Duracell Energy brand. Behind every system stands Puredrive’s design expertise, technical excellence, and commitment to powering a smarter energy future.

Our journey started years before Puredrive was founded when CEO Mark Millar installed the first UK home battery in his own garage to power his home independently. Fast forward more than a decade and that idea forms the foundation of our core goals moving forward:

Our collective mission is to empower homeowners and businesses to reduce the impact that uncontrollable factors have on their lives and energy bills

We’re changing how energy is done.  

  • Our battery storage and EV chargers are allowing homeowners and businesses to save money through storing energy and harnessing solar power and cheap off-peak tariffs.

  • Powering homes during power outages and protecting them from harsh energy price rises is something we feel passionate about.

  • We believe the home of the future is completely carbon neutral and we’re committed to creating the technology that benefits people and also the planet.
